Scott & Andy are geeked to announce that Windsor-based HEAVY metal machinists, UNDER RUINS, have commenced tracking their debut 6-song e.p. here at 'the Rockerie'. They already own an in-house record by having tracked the fastest song we've ever recorded: 212 BPM! That's just the tip of the metal plectrum, people! This is the shreddiest, thrashiest, metally-ist (?) project we've ever undertaken, and it is going to blow your freaking mind. Stay tuned...

'PSYCHO - II' delivered; Pure metal mayhem
The 'Rockerie' was proud to deliver 'II', the latest in the expanding 'Psycho'/'Rockerie Records' catalogue.
Singer/songwriter, and all-around metal madman, Mike Meilleur (the brains and brawn behind 'Psycho'), has come through with another couple of mind-melting old-school metal tracks to feast your horns on. 'Hard Way' is a four on the floor stomper in the trademark 'Psycho' style, while 'Leave Me Alone' takes a trippy detour, putting Mike's raw, and, dare I say legendary, vocal talent on full display. A double dose of brand new 'BareTrees' music joins the 'RR' catalogue; best yet!:
Stunning indie-rock songcraft and vibrant soundscapes makes the latest 'Rockerie Records' recorded offering from Torontonians 'BARETREES' a major milestone for both band and studio. 'BARETREES' find themselves at the pinnacle of their craft, creating and performing "Don't Stop Telling Me", & "The Clearing", further showcasing the highly unique and original talents of singer/songwriter Martin Foote, bassist James Bennett, guitarist Ben Munger, and drummer Luke Scheer.

Pre-production begins on the latest Warren/Langmuir collaboration; eying early 2010 for release!
With 'Lone Locust' (the live version, anyways), and 'Vultures!' now firmly in the rearview, Scott and Andy have united once again in writing brand new material for a brand new band...but, this time, they're not alone.
They've joined forces with another prominent Windsor singer/guitarist/songwriter, rendering a combination of styles that will surprise and excite you all at the same time.
We'll keep his identity secret, for now, but stay tuned for updates, new music, and show dates as they become a reality. This one's gonna be a beast!

The Rockerie prepares for a 'PSYCHO' invasion, metal style!:
Rockerie Records alum, and legendary Windsor heavy metal forefather, 'PSYCHO' (a.k.a. Mike Meilleur), will be making his long awaited return to 'the Rockerie' in November!
"PSYCHO" is a no-holds-barred, classic heavy metal collaboration between singer/songwriter/guitarist/bassist Meilleur and 'RR' founders Scott & Andy.
So, drag those dusty leathers outta the closet, extend your devil horns, and prepare to be rocked, 'PSYCHO' style! Expect finished tunes, in all their metal-y glory, sometime in late '09. In the meantime, get a taste of past 'PSYCHO' samples in our audio player above.

Vultures! & the return of Baretrees
We're still in the process of recording the Vultures! final 4 song E.P. ("the very rest of"), and thus far is sounding awesome. We've added a dash of orchestra, a pinch of acoustic, and a whole lotta rock.
In other Rockerie news, our dear friends Baretrees will be joining us for a third time over the labour day weekend to record two new tracks.
Lots of good stuff coming out of the Rockerie in the near future, so keep your ears peeled!

This is me as a woman's 10 song album "Extravaganza" has been delivered!
We just delivered a mastered 10-song album entitled 'Extravaganza' to singer/songwriter Kimberly Kukoraitis, a.k.a. 'This Is Me As A Woman'!
To say that her reaction was positive would be an understatement. Seeing an artist moved to tears by hearing their own recording is a uniquely uplifting, and also humbling experience.

New toys & new tunes!
Work has begun on a follow-up E.P by Vultures! entitled ...the very rest of. It's a four song, and it's gonna be good!
In studio news, we've made some changes/acquisitions that are going to do nothing but strengthen the sound and quality of work coming out of the Rockerie...stay tuned in!

My Dying Past
This weekend kicked off the recording of My Dying Past, a metal outfit hailing from Windsor.
Lead guitar tracks and lead vocals remain to be completed, and it's already sounding like a MONSTER.

Baretrees, This is me as a woman, & My Dying Past
Thanks to the Baretrees for joining us in the studio over the long weekend for an intense 15 hour session to record "Casino". Very nice.
We're still in the process of mixing This is me as a woman, and we've got My Dying Past starting off Friday night on a three-song e.p.!

Vultures! will be joined on stage @ Phog Lounge this Friday by Baretrees (Toronto).
Baretrees will also be locked away in the Rockerie over the weekend to record a couple of tracks to follow up their "Blind Action" E.P. from last year.

Mixing & mastering has been wrapped up for the eagerly awaited EP from Vultures! entitled "The very best of".
This up-tempo 4 song EP is the first release from the 4 piece Windsor outfit.
